'Rochester' is the incredible single yet multi-petalled white lilac, a seedling of 'Edith Cavell', selected by Alvan Grant and Bernard Harkness at Rochester's Highland Botanical Park.  Pictures do not do it justice; it deserves two.  This is very rare and not easy to propagate.  It's slow growing and will be on the small side.  Mid-season.  Grant 1971.  Grows 6' H x 4-6' W. Syringa vulgaris 'Rochester'.
Minimum shipping/handling charge is $20 for orders up to $50. Shipping for orders of $50 to $100 is $25. Orders over $100 will be charged 25% of the order amount to cover shipping and handling.

Most orders are shipped Mondays and Tuesdays via UPS or Priority Mail.

Please have your planting location ready or have a place to temporarily heel in your new plants. The plants are shipped bare root, and the roots cannot be allowed to dry out after you receive the plants. Please refer to the FAQ's and the Lilac Care sections for more information.
