'Rochester' is the incredible single yet multi-petalled white lilac, a seedling of 'Edith Cavell', selected by Alvan Grant and Bernard Harkness at Rochester's Highland Botanical Park. Pictures do not do it justice; it deserves two. This is very rare and not easy to propagate. It's slow growing, generally has weak roots, and is on the small side. Mid-season. Grant 1971. Syringa vulgaris 'Rochester'. Very limited supply, one per customer only, please.
Minimum shipping/handling charge is $25 for orders up to $100. Shipping for orders over $100 is 25% of the order amount.
Most orders are shipped Mondays and Tuesdays via U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail.
Please have your planting location ready, or have a place to temporarily heel in your new plants. The plants are shipped bare root, and the roots cannot be allowed to dry out after you receive the plants. Please refer to the FAQ's and the Lilac Care sections for more information.
